Project Double Sunrise connects
GP´s from the UK and Ireland to the Australian Dream.

I combine solid boots on the ground experience of hiring GP’s for both the UK and Australia combined with the drive and expertise to deliver incredible results for candidates and clients.

What is Project Double Sunrise?

Project Double Sunrise is a free turnkey project designed for British and Irish General Practitioners looking to work in Australia. My mission is to bridge the gap between GP´s from Ireland and the UK and employers in Australia. With my extensive network of employers and local know-how, I provide a one-stop shop for GPs looking to pursue their dreams Down Under.

How does it work?

I guide and support GPs throughout the entire relocation process, from initial visa consultations to finding work in the most suitable locations across Australia. I take pride in my ability to connect skilled GPs with employers who value their expertise and provide a welcoming work environment.

Why should I join the Project?

I recognize that each GP has their own preferences and goals when it comes to practicing medicine in Australia. I take the time to understand the individual needs of every GP and match them with the right employers and locations. I believe that this tailored approach is the key to successful placements and long-term satisfaction for GP´s and employers alike.

  • “I started Project Double Sunrise because Australia needs GP´s and a lot of GP´s in the UK want out. The original Double Sunrise route is now known as ¨The Kangaroo Route” but I already had a kangaroo as my logo and nothing beats a Sydney sunrise from the plane¨

  • “The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner took off on Thursday morning UK time and landed in Sydney at lunchtime on Friday. “We saw a double sunrise,” Qantas CEO Alan Joyce said after stepping off the flight. Qantas named the effort “Project Sunrise” after the airline’s endurance flights during the second world war.”
